People attach themselves to screens and digital interfaces
" Asynchronous developments, perpetual transformations and shifting paradigms put our values and realities to the test. Meanwhile, the immaterial world is gaining ground: people attach themselves to screens and digital interfaces and give up their privacy for a sense of virtual anonymity which detach them from a true identity."
DUTCH DESIGN WEEK EINDHOVEN
OCTOBER 2015
“Asynchronous developments, perpetual transformations and shifting paradigms put our values and realities to the test. Meanwhile, the immaterial world is gaining ground: people attach themselves to screens and digital interfaces and give up their privacy for a sense of virtual anonymity which detach them from a true identity”.
The designers have explored the concept of motion to find new directions and tangibilities, generating new ideas for a future relation between the body and its environment.
